The Institute for
Basic Science (IBS) is an aspiring research institute to be a leading world research
center to support various fields of basic sciences. The IBS commenced the Rare Isotope Science Project (RISP)
to build an In-Flight Fragment Facility and ISOL Facility driven by a 200 MeV/u
(U beam) driver superconducting linac and a 70MeV 1mA proton cyclotron (http://risp.ibs.re.kr).
The RISP is looking for motivated individuals in the
fields of accelerator and experimental systems. Some of the appointed
individuals may be sent to partner labs around the world for long term and
short term collaboration assignments.
